Sufi and Sound With Briana Schuster of New Earth Resonance Monday October 12th 6:30-8:00pm Sufi & Sound is an immersive evening of sacred poetry, music, meditation, and contemplative reflection inspired by the wisdom and beauty of the Sufi tradition. The experience weaves together readings of Sufi poetry, carefully curated soundscapes, moments of silence, guided meditation, and opportunities for personal reflection. Designed to be welcoming to people of all backgrounds, the evening offers a peaceful space to slow down, reconnect, and explore universal themes of love, presence, surrender, and unity. Rather than recreating or representing a traditional Sufi ceremony, Sufi & Sound respectfully draws inspiration from the writings of great Sufi mystics, presenting their poetry through an artistic and contemplative lens. The intention is to honor the tradition while making its timeless wisdom accessible to a broad audience. Each gathering creates an intimate atmosphere where participants can experience poetry not simply as literature, but as a doorway into stillness, self-inquiry, and connection. To further honor the living Sufi tradition, a portion of proceeds from each event will be donated to organizations that support authentic Sufi education and communities. While each event is a complete experience on its own, each date will feature the teachings and poetry of a different Sufi master, including Rumi, Hafez, and Ibn ’Arabi, allowing each gathering to carry its own unique tone and perspective.
